Mercedes C63 W205 Starting/crank issue after collision
Hi guys hoping someone can shed some light on a new problem of mine.
Recently bought a crashed damaged c63s from Copart, steering wheel & knee air bag deployed and bonnet. When the car arrived before doing any repairs we managed to squish back in the pyro fuse and got the car started so we proceeded to continue with repairs including all front end rad, pulleys etc. we are getting to the end of repairing all the broken pipes and have now topped up with coolant and oil and have now gone to start and we have nothing.
Doesn’t want to crank over, we have tried a new battery and have tried to reset all codes etc. we are using a new snap on diag tool which does have the start after crash ability but just keeps coming up with function aborted.
Car comes on the screens all light up but the start button pulses and then when you go to start it just does nothing.
Anyone have any ideas on what we can look at as like mentioned we have had it running before replacing the front end.
I’m having the exact same issue however mine is still damaged. I managed to get it started when I got the car. It fired up once and then I turned it off. I started it again and it was all working fine.
After stripping the front end I tried starting the car but I hear nothing. No clicks from the start nothing at all.
I made the starter turn through bypassing the relay and the engine turned but the car didn’t fire up.
