Bmc filter

Hey , what you guys think of BMC Filters?

still crap?? Ive seen the old thread of them melting down…i gotten them for free brand new and have them in for 2000km right now but im about to toss them out after seeing those meltdowns!

Now got me debating wether i should get the eventuri intakes still or just leave this thing stock !

damm so you caught it brittle when you checked up on them, did you have any engine problems after that? Crazy stuff , definitely getting them outta there even tho their brand new

To be honest the filter still did its job and I felt no loss in power. Inside of my airbox was pretty clean. As of right now I'm using Weistec drop in filter. Still waiting for Warranty to expire in August then I'll go Weistec or Eventuri full air intake kit

I'm in California and modifying/tampering with anything emissions or related to smog is illegal. Mercedes knew I added a drop in filter and didn't give me any warranty issue but they said a full kit will

i am in shock how the bmc filters had wiggle room ! Crazy stuff ! Debris and **** is forsure getting through those BMC air filters !

i dont mean exactly through the filter part but more around it . If you compare the oem filters to the bmc , they fit completely different , way more of a tight fit !
but im hoping no dirt gets threw cus ive had them on! Anyways about to buy the eventuri intake anyways
