Ac Belt squeal only on startup
My belt has been squealing for the first few mins when I would turn on the car, and it would only squeal if the ac was on. So I would just let the car warm up a little and turn on the ac about 10 mins into the drive and it would squeal for a few seconds and go away. Anyway i been putting it off on getting it done, so this morning I start the car and left the ac on from last night. To my surprise no squealing, but go no ac either lol . The belt would only make noise on the first start or if the car has been sitting around if the ac was engaged
So all am getting is hot air through the vents, I pull my scan tool out .
Its showing the blower motor its running
Refrigerant compressor is on
Refrigerant has pressure
Also hooked up to the low side is its 35, so got freon
Any suggestions here ? Am assuming it has to do something with the accessory belt on accessory tensioner been putting it off for almost 1 month .

Not sure if the sound was the same, but I had a very rhythmic squeak on startup that would go away when things warmed up. It turned out to be my A/C pulley, had it replaced under my CPO warranty and had them change both belts while they were in there. Apparently the belt job is a huge pain in the ***, so bit the bullet on the price.

Had the exact same issue at around 70k miles - had my local indy do all the pulleys and tensioners + both belts, to the tune of roughly $1200.
From all the research I've done on this (prior to taking it to the shop), it's a giant PITA if you don't have a lift.
