C63S | BEST CATTED DOWNPIPE OPTIONS
Looking to get some catted downpipes for my 2018 C63S Coupe and I'm looking at 3 different options...
1.) Secondary cat delete - $400
2.) @ModalWorks 200 cell catted downpipes - $1200
3.) @REDSTAR EXHAUST 200 cell catted downpipes - $3900
Option 1 - is obviously the quickest and cheapest but I don't know if I will gain enough sound from just removing the secondary cat.
Option 2 - is what I'm leaning towards - however I heard the cats are not high quality material.
Option 3 - is the best quality from what I've heard but don't know if I can just the price.
Looking forward to hearing your guys thoughts and opinions.
I appreciate your guys time!

Dont do the secondary delete, it will be a huge pain to put them back on and you will really just ruin your original downpipes. If you are tuned or going to get a tune, just go with the modalworks, its much cheaper and the tune will take care of the CEL. I went with the redstar pipes with the HJS cats so that I can get the monitors set to ready and I dont need a tune. The stock power is enough for me and I just wanted to add more sound.

@Aliw140 Yah that's kind of what I was wondering... I was going to get the @ModalWorks catted DP's but the more I look into it I guess they are just rebranded Alibaba pipes so now I'm kinda of on the fence about it. Also here that fitment isn't exactly perfect regarding the install process. Where as the @REDSTAR EXHAUST DP's fit like a glove I've heard.

Don’t cheap out, do it right the first time with quality parts. The catalyst will be the most important part, spend on a quality unit that lasts, works, and flows well. If it takes you a month to save $1k, wait a few more months and spend the extra.

@dlefty Yah agreed. Going to do the 200 cell catted - just can't figure out which one to go with below.
@ModalWorks is in stock and ready to ship for $1200 - but are from china
@REDSTAR EXHAUST is a 4 week wait and cost $4000 - make in germany
