C63s 2017 intake camshaft position sensor
Hello I just bought a second hand amg with codes regarding camshaft code P001177&P002177 the 80km no sound in the morning start the car it drives smooth im just worried if it will be issue in future my mechanic told me it might need to change the camshaft adjusters as its normal service to this cars I just need an adivse from experienced drivers and ist a big problem or its normal service

That sounds expensive. Probably need engine out to do that😩

could you be more specific I don’t think you need to take engine out to do that as the camshaft’s are on top engine

U either have to dismantle the whole front because a lot of things are in the way and there’s no room or drop the engine I’m afraid 😟

ok any advice the mechanic said i have to change all cam adjusters said their fulty I think it couldn’t be possible because everything semes normal with the car minnor sound in the cold start up I guess he is trying to gain more money its trend now days when mechanics see amg
