Does anyone know where the Sirius receiver is in a C63S

As the title suggests. My car says Tuner unavailable when I try to access it to move my Sirius over.
Maybe the issue is I need a new receiver.

Anyone with the location of the receiver in a 2019 C63S I'd appreciate a diagram of where and, even better, how to get to it.

Thanks in advance!

Ron

Going to take it to the dealer. Hoping it's just an update or something.
I will report back.

Hi Doc, according to the parts catalogue it's in the boot. There's a few versions but part number is A2229009011 (for prefacelift it's A2229008002)

I've highlighted it in yellow. Here's a few pics are you able to find it in the trunk behind the liner and carpet?

So this is my trunk space..battery and fuse panel. To the right of the fuse panel, under the flat black plastic part feels like more electronics or fuses only..

Nope it won't be there. Unclip and pull back the carpet that lines up the sides of the trunk. You'll see round black clips that secure the carpet that pops off.

Pull back the carpet what do you see on the sides?

Well, as luck would have it, the bolt on the driver's side was stripped and could not be removed.
I pulled the carpet back a little on the passenger's side and didnt see any components.

It is behind the carpet above the fender area.... can I just ask why do you want to access the receiver??? Are you going to take it out or something

Which side?
Mine is not working, so if i can find it and buy a used one instead of paying the dealer like $600, it would be worth it.

So Mercedes did a 4 hr software update and it did not fix the problem. They're telling me I need a new comand unit as the Sirius is integrated and it will cost over $6,000. I told them forget it! I'll stick with Bluetooth, but you lose a little sound quality that way.

I still don't know where the Sirius component resides or if it is in fact a separate component. I posted pics of my trunk and have mostly pulled the carpet back only to see the wheel well.
Can someone please post a pic of the receiver insitu?
I have a 2019 C63S coupe.
Thanks.

I cannot access sirius. It says tuner unavailable.
Is it integrated into the radio in the center consolenor a separate unit located elsewhere in the car?
