Anybody port their stock turbos?

Maybe this is a dumb question but has anybody ported their stock turbos? Maybe open the wastegates and a little porting. Turbos are easy to remove and take off the hot side and go to work!

Any thoughts? Just curious.

No reason to, they flow fine even with larger hybrid wheels in.

I just wonder, with all the advancement in CNC machining, the use of PLC machines in the manufacturing process, that traditional porting would result in any flow enhancement.
The CAD, CAM, and all of the super accurate and ultra high tolerance processes may have left porting in the obsolete era.

Why buy bigger turbos then? When you buy turbos from pure or something similar I’m sure some of what they do would be considered “porting”? Maybe I’m mistaken though.

A Hybrid turbo is machined and larger wheels replace the stock size wheels. In the case of our offering we also replace the centre with ceramic ball bearings and a larger more durable shaft.
