Windows no longer rolls back up when door is closed

Windows no longer rolls back up when door is closed
Just recently started doing this
Coupe window always rolls down half inch or when opening the door, but no longer rolls back up automatically after for is closed.
Not a big deal if I'm getting in the car, as I can just put it up... but window stays partly open like that when I leave and have no way to put it up from the outside.
Window mechanism otherwise seems to work fine.
Any ideas ? It's like the programming for that function just stopped out of nowhere
