'63 popping through speakers - smoke
My 2013 C-63 just had the cam chain tensioners replaced at the MB dealership a couple of months ago. About a week after returning home I was playing audio content through the bluetooth feature of the command system when I began hearing what sounded like feedback through the speakers, so I relocated my phone and that seemed to stop it. A few minutes later it began popping and making strange sounds through all the speakers. As it happened the wife and I were about to embark on a road trip to the Carolinas so we were on the interstate here in Alabama. As we hit a stretch the sun happened through the trees at just the right angle to show smoke wafting up from what appeared to be the right side front speaker. Needless to say, we turned around ASAP and went back home. The car has been parked since then as I do not have a clue where to even start with this issue.. any ideas?
