V band downpipes

V band downpipes
I have seen people who cut their original downpipes to change for catless, have welded on v band clamps onto the original ones. This makes the install way easier than removing trans. I am really interested in doing it myself but I would love to see some pictures before I go ahead. Any tips as well?
ps. I have mtc downpipes that I bought, are the fitment good on these? Thanks in advance

I heard from someone that extended O2 sensor adapters worked with catless downpipes but no personal experience. For me these are just gimmicks, if you want downpipes, get a tune.
if you dont want a tune, stick to sec cat delete and leave it at that.

i got their o2 sensor adapter, won’t tune it yet. No rush, car has only 33k km and is only being used in the summer. Sound will be crazy I hope

I have modal works 200 cell and still through codes. So I drilled out the honey comb out of the cats and making more power. I use a 90degree o2 defouler and passed emissions just a few days ago. No more returning to stocks.
btw. I did welded vbands onto my stocks. Works well after using a $100 mig from amazon. Get the o2 defouler.
