Hey all, my second thread here and I've gotten to find something I've not been able to fix. I'm talking about the creaking that primarily comes from the instrument cluster plastic shroud that surrounds the cluster itself. Has anyone figured out a fix to this problem or a way to disassemble and place foam to stop the creaking? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

I had that too. I started to push my cluster with my hand while driving on the freeway as it was driving me nuts.
After hours of sticking my head around while shooting down a rough freeway (don't do that) I found out it was this flimsy little silver trim on the transmission stalk which clicks around. So I pulled over, stuck some tiny fluff hairs I picked from the boot liner into it with my finger nail until I managed to get felt ***** from ebay. It damn near drove me crazy.

I do appreciate the reply, I can't see that piece being loose or anything. I'm more concerned about the gauge cluster's shroud being a problem more than anything else (at least it sounds like it). I might try to remove the cluster or try to remove the shroud.
