Hey All, I'm looking for a possible explaination of why my brand new strut from MB is already leaking oil. I can't find any cracks or anything around the "Cylinder" module on the strut so I'm at a loss. The top of the strut is dry and it's for sure from the module. Any answers or past experiences that you might be able to share I'd very much appreciate. Thank you.

Yes, my car has 30K miles and front struts are leaky too. Not sure if that has something to do with my limp mode. Is your car in soft limp due to this? I'm trying to rule things out as my car is in limp and no codes but the drive is bouncy.

2. the picture is not good - i can not see any oil.
have you a better picture ?
3. did you replace them yourself?
4.Is coding etc. necessary after replace of these elec. Shock absorber?
