For Sale: 1997 Mercedes-Benz C36 AMG (Vancouver, O Canada)
I totally adore this car but I will have to let it go to get my career things rolling... I need to start a small firm and work some stuff out so help me out here.
1997 Mercedes-Benz C36AMG. 2 owners (1 before me and myself).
Great stuff
Local car. Serviced at Vancouver MB with receipts dating back to 1999
Full service history. Dealer inspected and serviced the whole time
no check engine light
no mechanical maintenance required as per dealer report
Just passed aircare valid until July 2nd 2011.
Clean title. Not a salvage or a rebuild.
ZERO rust and zero leak under the car
Always garage kept
276bhp 0-60 dealt with in 6 seconds flat. Clears the quarter mile in 13.8 seconds.
1997 model is the last year with the inline 6 engine and the first year with the 5 speed auto. Greatest combination there is IMO.
Good stuff
161000km
Engine head replaced by Mercedes dealer twice in its life time, no particulars as to why it has been replaced.
Fully loaded model with power windows, power mirrors, heated seat, glass sunroof, full leather interior with ZERO rip. Original tools and medical kit out in the back. All upholstery perfect.
Custom flip up screen entertainment system. Factory deck is also provided. Factory CD changer is in perfect working condition
AMG stainless steel one-piece exhaust system
Everything that worked in 1997 works today.
OK stuff
Kumho ASX tires all around. 215 front 245 back. Rear tires replaced about 1 year ago.
Factory 17" AMG wheels
Factory AMG suspension setup
custom rear window and rear side windows limo tint
very light front tint. No problem with authority as factory glass was smoked and the tint is done right up to the very edge of the glass.
Not so good stuff
Some rock chips
Trunk was involved in an accident in 2003 with repair works done at Vancouver Mercedes (Mercedes' own bodyshop in Richmond) but there are a few flaws.
A few dents here and there that I intended to repair but priorities with my life means I have no more spare money to fling at this fine automobile.
Asking price 15,000 Canadian dollars Will entertain reasonable offers.
Will post on other forums soon.
