Winter tires GLC300 2017
I have ordered MY17 GLC300 and it is supposed to be delivered mid December. So I started to shop for winter tires but was wondering if I could downsize to 18' rather than stay with 19'. Both my dealer and MB Canada told me I cannot, but when I go to 1010tires.com or tirerack both websites say that I can downgrade to 18', and even to 17'.
Can anyone tell me if 18' tires and rims will fit on the 2017.
I also found on the internet, a picture of the inside gas door which shows the recommended pressure for tires of different sizes.

I take it yours has the sport package? If so, the smallest wheel you can run is 18.
I know in other markets you can get away with 17's because they don't fit the big brakes from the sport package to all their trucks.
I'll be shopping for winter tires in the oem 19" size. I'll get a lighter wheel for the spring/summer season. Those AMG wheels are like boat anchors.

Yep. You can definitely use 18's. Make sure you get those TPMS on the wheels. Unless you like the computer to be freaking out whenever you start the truck.

In the US MY17 DOG, they come with 18" tires as standard.
Can I also decrease the width or is it better to stick with the original width of 235mm?

If you do stick with the 18's you can run a 225/60r18 winter tire. Would make more sense since you want to cut through the snow better. A blizzak ws80 or the Michelin X ice x13 would be my choices
