Discounts on custom ordered vehicles

Meanwhile down South it seems from what I read on here that a lot of people are easily able to get 7-10% off MSRP easily.
I got a carcost canada report on the 2020 GLC43 Coupe and with that info went in to the dealership with a good idea of what I wanted to pay leaving them a little and made them an offer and didn't budge and was willing to walk out. The retail cost on the car with (freight $2595.00) and GST (5%) is $84509.25. The doc fee $495.00, Air conditioning tax $100.00, Tire disposal fee $20.00-5 tires, Registration fee $25.00, AMVIC fee $6.25, Nitrogen $99.00 They wouldn't remove this...tried!
So, with fee's $85,254.50 I paid $78,250.00 all in. so, about 8.25% off. Also, I think we are getting a much better deal on these cars in Canada based on if you take US retail price of this car times 1.32 exchange rate. That's also why I think you see bigger discounts on MB in USA as I think they have a bigger margin to work with at dealer level.
