Sunday fantasy football cigar lineup...
Cohiba 1966 Limitada Edicion...OK...I think aging this would be of great benefit.
Montecristo No. 1 (Box date is Dec 2001)...MY GOD...this was a fantastic stick. I paired it with coffee and I was amazed!
Partagas 8-9-8...so glad I have a box.

JR, he is right though brotha.. "The good life" indeed... well deserved!
Myself, I had a "pretty" good Wednesday out... Dinner..
I very rarely indulge in this but did tonight..
Then met my cuz @ the Havana House and had
Usual crappy pics!

I am guilty of golf, steaks, cigars during a weekenday as well
In life you need to take the moment you have and use it. Does not matter what day of week.
Jon: The porterhouse looks great. What restaurant at the Hard Rock was that at?

Anyhow, happy (football) Sunday guys!
BD, LOVE those My Father's! JR, I gotta kick the 'ribeye' habit and try a porterhouse, it's been years since I had one. C280, my next purchase will be a box of San Lotanos, La Flor Dominica Double-Ligeros and My Father robustos.
Smoked a seasoned Victor Sinclair 10th Anniversary last week:
This also came in last week:
Ashton VSG's and a replacement Xikar cutter. Lost my beloved Davidoff guillotine cutter after God-knows-how-many years of service. RIP, wherever you are!
For you San Lotano maduro lovers, I smoked a 5 Vegas Triple-A yesterday which, I understand, is also blended by AJ Fernandez. Barely 3-days in the humi and it smokes down to this:
Sorry for the b&w pic, I guess I was feeling a bit artiste with my phone camera after last night's festivities:
Slash at the O'Reilly Events Center here in Springfield. Yes, the O'Reilly's of auto parts chain fame. Great show, wasn't really much of a Slash fan but have always enjoyed his work with GnR and VR. I must say, the boy can definitely play, he's got some great licks. BTW, he's been playing with Miles Kennedy and the Conspirators, check them out on youtube, Miles sounds like a young Axl in the right places.
Foxy Shazam opened and were an absolute blast! A combination of Rocky Horror, Queen and early grunge. Definitely the most amusing band I've seen in quite some time!
I'll leave you with this:

Jrock! Good pic's and writeup! Don't give up those Ribeye's brotha.. pound for pound still the best! I love porterhouses too but I'm a ribeye man for sure.. I posted that In-n-Out pic for you bro... figured you missed it in MO!
I burned a San Lotano and a Cain Daytona this weekend.. late Sunday.. the phone was dead so no pics.. good smokes though.. especially that San Lotano Maduro..
Went by the best local Cigar shop today and picked up quite a few singles I've been wanting to try and some Padron's so I'm gearing up for the weather to cool down over here..
Have a good week men.

I said Tuesday because JR posted that on Wednesday. So I figured that was from the previous night's events? I know, I was stretching!

BD, how are those Cain Daytonas?!?! I've been hesitant to try them, but they are highly rated.
C280 (sorry, I don't know your names?!), I have to admit, this was one of my better weekends since moving here to Missouri. Kinda felt like home in LA, where you have everything you could want at your fingertips.
BTW, BD, you guys are scorching there, what the hell?!?!

^^ The Cain was good! I did smoke it back to back after the San Lotano if that changes the flavor but it was consistent, medium body, good construction. I bought two so I'll have at least one more. I'd recommend picking one up when you want a medium body smoke. I've had the Cain Habano and that one is more full bodied for sure.
I don't know WTF is up with the weather... it's cool at night so that makes a big difference.. I didn't hit the A/C until 2pm today and won't have to run it all night.
George! Happy birthday bro.. Let me be the first (at least from the west coast) to say Happy B-day and best wishes.
Bill.

Couple of smokes tonight.. the weekend has begun.
Started with a Saint Luis Rey.. not bad.. mild-medium body.. good first smoke for me..
Then burned a Romeo y Julieta 1875 Habana Reserve. Really good smoke.
Have a good weekend dudes and get a couple smoked!
