Nice. Can't wait to see some updates. I just picked up my second 500E, a low mile Black 1992. I've fallen madly in love with these W124 036's.
Enjoying a Ramon Alones Specially Selected with a glass of Port tonight. Great combo.

My new 500E. Just needs some 18" Monblocks and Euro headlights. These cars are such a pleasure to drive.

I've also installed Brembo SL600 brake kit with drilled rotors on the 1993. I had to install 1994 lower control arms to clearance the larger rotors. Very happy with the results. The car has 125k miles but came with thousands of dollars in maintenance records and the car looks better than most low mile cars I've seen and drives like a dream. I love the car, which is why I went looking for a low mile car.

Do you have a contact? I have 18" staggered two piece on my other 500E that bought in Seattle for crazy money. The hard part is finding the correct offset in staggered wheels.

First of all, I like where this thread has detoured!
Jon, where are you having your interior work done, same shop? Shoot me a PM if you can. Whoever does your interior work is an artiste.
Second, I haven't been able to contribute much since it's been TOO DAMN COLD to smoke out here!!! (I hate the midwest, but that's another story...) However, things have started to change now that spring is here and I hope to be posting a few reviews.
In fact, I've got a batch of new smokes I've been dying to try - Liga Privadas ( JR), La Flor Domincas, a great, small-batch boutique brand called "Dissident" and a couple others.
Finally, how about some reviews of those Illusione Rothchildes and Cohiba Behikes?!?!

I've been very happy with nearly everything I've smoked from Illusione... the only exception being the lancero (h1, white label). That thing was a PITA to keep lit, tight draw, no bueno. But everything else Illusione makes is delicious. Wanting to try the MK (black label)... I'm hearing it's a gem.
I smoked an "Aging Room" M356 last night... excellent flavor. I really need to take an hour (yes, an hour) and update you guys. I've been one busy mother-herfer lately ... Tons of photos and good sticks, despite the crummy winter.

The black car is on it's way to LA for the 500E get together on April 12th. Can't wait. There should be about 25 to 30 500E's.

Nice...W124's are like a finely aged cigar. If taken cared of...it gets better with age.
With my Baby Hammer, I'm going for a somewhat period look interior but with much better leather and stitching work. I don't want to go over the top with the interior...it'll be like the exterior...You look at it and you wonder what is different but can't really pin it down right away (that it has a wide body)...

Jon remember we chatted on the golf course about my W210 M120 engine swap? No luck still on it but here are some pics. No time to really work on it much. Now I see just what you mean when you say let the shop handle it
Some pics:
Inside is near perfect. Added Wifi to the car as well.

Not sure when I'm coming out to LA again, hopefully within the next couple of months. I'm ready to get the hell out of here, it's been nearly 6 months of winter and that's about 6 months too long for this So Cal native!

Doing well, Doctor! I was thinking of texting you to see how you've been doing? Sounds like things are good, I'll shoot you a text since I know you always have good stories!
