Not so much spicy per se (still a bit) but more sweet and cocoa mix...the draw has been perfect on the 6 I've smoked from this box. It really is a good bordering on great cigar...

Second round of golf...
Padron 1926 Serie #9...great draw...and soooo smooth, rich, and creamy...coffee/cocoa Padron mojo.
Padron 1964 Anniversary Exclusivo...tighter draw...but the chocolate/cocoa (moreso than the #9) was fantastic with a hint of spice...

Great pics Jon. What a wonderful addition to a great day of golf. The Pardons are a great Cigar. By the way do you still have your 04 E55 AMG?

George...after 7 years of enjoyment I sold it last year to make way for the GTR. I still miss it...I might get a E63 TTV8 or a second generation M5 TTV8 next year though. I miss the 4 door sedan rocket sled.

Jonnie, I had a Cafe con Leche just a few days ago. Probably one of the sweetest sticks you'll ever smoke...literally! So cane-sugary sweet it's almost a candy-like cigar that's hard to take seriously, but it's a wonderful, medium-bodied smoke.

I wouldn't smoke it as my regular cigar...it is just a nice change of pace.

From last night...wives went to one restaurant and the husbands went the Brazilian churrasco house across the street...what a great time!!!
Started out with a Macallan 21yr single malt...with a Macallan ice press making these huge ice *****. Need to get one of those...
The Macallan Ice Press...
Then they showed us some Remy Martin Louis VIII
Then my buddy freaking out after learning how much we had to pay for an ounce...
The smokes:
Padron Millenium...I screwed up the lighting of it but the ash lasted quite awhile even crooked...
More Macallan 21 and a Padron Principe
THEN this morning after being hung over...Padron 80yr
Padron #9
All and all not a bad 24hrs...more to come tonight...

JR...your too kind! I hope to go a Padron event in Miami coming and hopefully will actually get to meet them. From what I've heard they are really nice and down to earth folks who just so happen to make great cigars.
Smoked this last night...Cohiba Maduro 5

Well I closed out this weekend by meeting a buddy @ a cigar bar for lunch and round of golf and 4 great cigars...golf was so-so but the cigars made it worth my 2hrs of mis-hitting that farqing white ball.
@ Cigar Castle in Tampa...
Cohiba Maduro 5 and then a Padron Principe
Anejo #77 Shark - front 9
Padron Family Reserve 45yr

Senor Padron, you threw me a curve with your last couple of posts! I almost didn't recognize who was putting up pictures of Cohibas, Fuentes, etc. until you snuck in those Padrons!
Speaking of which, I just nubbed the last Padron Anniversario in my stash. A beautiful, box-pressed belicoso! Literally smoked it to about 1/2"! I need a 'roach clip' for cigars!

Those Joya de Nicaragua 1970's are indeed full-bodied. It's interesting to note that as they age, they lose a little of that power, but still smoke really well.
A friend of mine had one of those after a full day of BBQing and drinking and it knocked him on his ***, literally. He was sitting in a patio chair, went to get up and then slipped and fell on his ***, cigar in hand. We called it the Devesh-Killer ever since then, LOL

JR...still trying to recover and trying to forget the ridiculous amount of calories I took in this weekend. LOL! The cigars and scotches were fantastic and the company and laughs were one of the highlights of the year.
That Glenfiddich 1978 and Macallan 25 were worth every penny I paid...drinking it with the Padron Millenium was the zenith of my smoking year.
I hope to make it even a better year with this weekend...planning a guys golf weekend @ Orlando resort...more golf, premium cigars and scotches, poker, and great friends.
J
PS On top of the 2 scotches up there I picked up some Balvenie 30yr, Yamazaki 30yr, and Glenroddach 21yr. Plus some Remy Martin Louis XIII cognac...with the cigars I'm bringing...it will be epic!
