Extended Warranty
Ok fellas, here's the deal... I went back the MB dealer to purchase the extended warranty I've mentioned earlier in the thread "MB Newbie needs a hand." (I figured that there was enough interest in the warranties to start this thread.) Bad news:
That specific company, CNA, doesn't write coverage for xx600's, or any 12-cyl for that matter. The guy I had spoken with had mistakenly thought I was inquiring about a CL500. Oh well. But the upside was that he's calling the broker for these warranties and is bent on finding me one that is on par with the one he described for me. Probably a bit more expensive I'll bet. I'll let you know what he brings me.
The car did get a nice compliment while there though. He called it "still in the wrapper."

Hi, You just helped out w/ my fog light question..so let me try.. I also just purchased a very comprehensive 4yr/48k ? (I believe) aftermarket warranty for my 01 CL6 ... If you're interested, when I get home, I can post their contact info. If you'd like it (or anyone else) let me know.

All of them, as much as I can...
I just bought a 48 month 48000 mile pkg...
from Rallye in Roslyn. It's written by Fidelity Warranty Sevices Inc. They offer several packages depending on extent of coverage. I got the "Gold Plus" with $100 deductible and the coverage is probably 90% of the original MB warranty. No maintenance plan but is an option. Cost me $3944.
