nah thats no designo i think that wood is called chestnut you could also tell by the leather and seat color its not designo. also designos also have a different color exterior than the standard colors im pretty sure

Color wise I know,
I've already looked at the brochures and it wasn't that hard to confirm the U.S. spec color options.
I asked if it's a designo color because he's located in Europe and I wanted to know if there were different designo colors offered there.
I also drew my question partly from the "gathered leather" trim on his door panel, which at least the standard CL500s here in this country did not come with. I don't know, perhaps CL500s were equipped slightly different from the ones sold here.

The color appears to be Black Opal...which I have on my CL65 (and available on many other models in the MB line-up). I have the chestnut wood interior but with the Charcoal Nappa leather.

Beautiful cars! 
The CL65 even comes with the Distronic option! You can really tell how the color Black Opal is different from the standard black color. It almost looked Flint Grayish compared to the black color. Nice!
Now, which ones of these gentlemen in the pictures are you and Tom?

Very nice wheels w/ decent rear lips! I don't see too many of these on a Mercedes.
A side view shot would be awesome though!
