Brake Assist BAS & Elec. Stabil. Prog. ESP

My wife's CL500 has 2 warnings popping up from time to time:
1/ Brake Assist BAS Visit Workshop !
2/ Elec. Stabil. Prog. ESP Visit Workshop!

The problem is that if we stop the engine & starts it again, these will not appear anymre for days & then 1 morning they will be back, etc.....

On top of that, any little bump on the road gets the car's OBC makes a little "dong!", but no malfunction is actually popping up in the OBC screen.

We sent the car to 2 workshops, both they could not find the actual problem.

Has any of you guys had a similar experience ?

What should we do ?

Thanks a lot!

Franck

Could be what happened to me sometimes ,with the tip start it doesnt always engage and doesnt start causeing these warning lights to come on I would then turn the car off and restart it problem went away.
-Also could be what we call GHOST CODES?
-Try taking it to MB and have them grease up the flywheel There is a certain grease for this it is for the tip start?
-Have it do it so the light stays on DONT SHUT THE CAR OFFF and take it to mb see what it codes up for.
-Could be a simple stop lamp switch

Thanks for your help.

I actually pops up a few minutes after driving. I then stop the car, turn OFF the engine & then ON & no more malfunction.

Quite weird as the 2 workshops I took it to could not find anything wrong.....

where are you located, and i think the other poster was suggesting to take it directly to the dealer when the warning comes up and do not shut the car off.
