2001 Lorinser Edition CL600 (SOLD)
Believe me, they'll be worth less than that retail by year end and get a real slug-in-the-face when the new CL crushes the old CL with its fresh style and technology.

03 Cl600
the last price i heard this past week for mid-$40k for clean 40k mi in the SF area. w/ more lease returns coming, who knows what the 03's may drop to, or how much more for 04's....

06 CL600 etc...
i'm not sure that there are too many CL600's out there to check out, but even if there was a decent selection, my guess is that it'll be closer to $70k+. although that's a big discount from MSRP of $130k+, as i've been reviewing 01-04 CL600 prices, we all have an idea how much lower that $70k could go.
for me, this isn't about how much one can afford, but personally i don't feel that comfortable spending more than $30k-ish to buy a depreciating asset. i realize that these cars meant for enjoyment and therefore are not meant as investments. however, for me, i also feel that a 2006 CL600 is not $30k more fun to drive than a 2003 CL600.
trying to stay patient...looking to a nice 03 CL600 or S600 that's under warranty so i can get extended warranty and enjoy it for 3-4 yrs

I'm sure you'll find one with patience. Have you looked at http://www.autotrader.com/
And by all means, get a good warranty. Good luck!

My ex-cars: 03 E55,04 C32, 05 C55 ,03 E320
I waas in the market for a CL600 or S600 twinturbos a couple weeks...
did you test drive one? if you do, you will fall in love with one...
I refused to pay 50,000 for an 03 S600 last week, and then the dealer got rid of the car the day after...dunno if they sold it or auctioned it..
I've also turned down a CL600 4 weeks ago, going for 50k (no extended warranty)...coz the car didn't start up in front of my face one morning...
anyways, im looking around for one as well

I purchased a 2004
I'm new to the forum. Two weeks ago, I purchased a 2004 CL600 sport with 30k miles for $57,000. I think $57k was fair considering it has every option including the AMG sport package.
I personally don't give a rats *** about the new CL coming out in a few months. I don't see many CLs on the road anyway. It's not like buying a 2 or 3 year old Corvette just before a new model is being released.
I have a friend with a 2003 CL600 and I fell in love with it. He did the ECU upgrade and his car is almost as quick as a new Z06.

2006 ML500
Wow...amazing how the prices are dropping. I sold mine for the mid-60's-ish (w/extended warranty) and it was an 03 with 34k miles. This was about 3 months ago.
It did take a while to sell and the dealers were only offering low 50's for the car on trade-in.
I would get the 04/05 w/ the nicer navi, and find someone desperate to sell. Deals will be out there!

Thank you Adam.......
I installed the two computers (took 5 minutes) but unfortunately it's raining in NY and the roads are wet. I tried to drive the car, but the traction control keeps going off because the wheels want to spin; even at 60mph. So I'll let you know how the car feels the next time the roads are dry.
Thanks again for everything; I really appreciate everything.
