Memory for interior rear-view mirror?
I had a 2002 CL500 that I always regretted having to sell, so I'm glad to be back after just picking up a just-slightly-used 2006 CL500.
One question I have is that I could've sworn that my 02 stored the interior rear-view mirror's position with the seat memory but my 06 does not nor does the manual indicate so. Am I recalling this correctly? Did this unique feature really go away as some cost saving measure?

95 SL500, 05 CL600, 91 RR County, 99 RR 4.6 HSE, 09 RR Autobiography, 13 RR Autobiography
I don't have memory for this mirror in '05 CL600 either. Nice to have but gets broken easily. Have one in my 95 SL500 and had to fix it twice already. I guess anybody who's not familiar with the car just grabs it and starts turning each and every way...

Is that what happened? I vaguely remember a family friend showing me this feature on his W140 a long time ago. But I was disappointed to see it is no longer a feature in the S-class.
