So I put my 19"s on the Benz and I have this odd clicking sound...sounds like a kid that put a card in his fender on his bike...there is no evidence of rubbing anywhere.
I have tried 5" spacers and that works but they suck (not hubcentric). Also with these on the wheel doesn't actual sit on the hub.
I have tried 15mm spacers and the problem comes back.
So I just got new tires put on hoping that was the problem. Well they took my spacers off and I drove away hearing the clicking sound (previously I hadn't driven more than around the block before I tried and used the spacers for the past few months). Well by the time I got back to the office which was 5 miles away, it had basically gone away. I pulled the wheel off tonight and no evidence of any rubbing. Car seems to drive fine but I'm still somewhat concerned. They are 35mm offset if that makes a difference. Any ideas?

Did you make sure the valve stem wasn't hitting the caliper? I purchased some rims and had to send them back for different valve stems because they would have hit the calipers had I mounted them as is.

Check the lug bolts that your using. Sounds like they are too long and hitting either the e-brake and/or dustshield.
