600 Spark Plug Replacement Question

Hi all,

I'm taking my 600 in for a B service and was wondering, at how many miles are spark plugs typically replaced on a V12 engine (02 CL600).

5 years or 100,000 miles. Whichever comes first.

V12 plugs are changed at 60,000. All others at 100,000.

Thanks guys,

Car is in for B service. Original quoted price of $575 turned into $2500.

Dealer says spark plugs are due for replacement, as well as some filters (air and ABC) which account for increased price. Still sounds high to me. Meeting with SA tomorrow to get an itemized list of work to be performed.

Car is an 02 CL600 with 40k miles.

Before you get your air filters, try checking at oempartsdirect.com. You should be able to get all these abovementioned parts at a discounted, non-"rape" price. Save some $$$,
