2001 CL500..high interest rate?

Who are you guys financing your vehicle through?

Ive gone to Capitol One and a local credit Union and so far the lowest interest rate given to me was 5.9% by my credit union for a 2000 or 2001 CL.

Capitol One gave me 8.35% (yikes!) because the car is older than 2004.

How the hell can this be possible when they told me my credit score is a 805! What am I missing here?

Is it true that you get a higher interest rate for older cars?

Yes, the difference in interest rate from new to used is pretty big.
