How can I do a proper Burnout with '03 CL500?

Hey All.
I've been driving my cl500 and I turn off the ESP , set it in sport mode and start drifting but I cannot figure out how to burnout (like at a stoplight) with this car.
On other automatics u can do the gas/brake at the same time, or jump from N to D but nothing works.
Any suggestions????

2004 CL55
You might try hitting the gas while holding the car in place with the brake (don't do this for too long!). As soon as you get your RPM up then let go of the brake slowly and see if you can get anything. It is very easy on the CL55 and on other high output autos I have had in the past, but I have not tried it on the CL500 - - it might not have the horsepower to get the smoke you are looking for.

Dyno mode is probably the only way for the 500 to light up the tires like you want.

jumping from n to drive is the stupidest thing you can do! dont do that in any car....as for a burnout...if you mean sitting still and just making a **** load of smoke....esp off...sport mode...brake pedal all the way down...floor it...sad to say but yes my s600 has experienced that

I rather take to the curves with the 500 than any kind of smoke out. If you want that, get a Mustang

CL500 and ML55
Not really sure why you would want to do a burnout in a car like a CL...unless you are 16 yrs old ; )

....but this would probably help:
