How can I do a proper Burnout with '03 CL500?
Hey All.
I've been driving my cl500 and I turn off the ESP
, set it in sport mode and start drifting but I cannot figure out how to burnout (like at a stoplight) with this car.
On other automatics u can do the gas/brake at the same time, or jump from N to D but nothing works.
Any suggestions????

You might try hitting the gas while holding the car in place with the brake (don't do this for too long!). As soon as you get your RPM up then let go of the brake slowly and see if you can get anything. It is very easy on the CL55 and on other high output autos I have had in the past, but I have not tried it on the CL500 - - it might not have the horsepower to get the smoke you are looking for.

Not really sure why you would want to do a burnout in a car like a CL...unless you are 16 yrs old ; )
