I believe so haha.. Too be honest I think CL's are the rarest models among all lines. But thats regarding my own opinion.. ( Out here in Houston I seen about only 3 W215 CL's )

I think because it is such an expensive model, that very few people can afford new, only "car crazy" people (like me) will buy a used one with high mileage (in order to afford one) The new car owner will rarely admit that he has a problem with his new car - and gets the repair done under warranty, while the "car crazy guy" will admit to having problems - and has to pay for it.
See: ABC problems with the CL500 -plus: Lots of electrical issues. How many people are willing to fly to Austin, Texas from Calgary, Canada - buy an 2001 CL500 with 175000 Miles on it - and drive it back - (as I did) Ask a new car owner if he has any problems with his CL, he will never admit it - but then you see the same car in the shop at the dealership.....

I really think its a rare model bc as beautiful as the CL is, why not just get the convertible SL for the same price. I mean very few CL owners actually consider whats behind the driver a "back seat". I had 2 CL600's first an '02 then a while later an '03 that was white, easily the most beautiful car I ever owned, I wish the damn engine wouldn't leak oil....on both! I'm happy I moved onto an SL now, its not hard to see why you see so many SL's compared to the CL its just much more car for a similar price.

I agree with you totally. I almost never use the backseat in my CL. I too moved into the SL. But when I started thinking about selling my CL I wound up deciding to keep it. I enjoy my SL even more since its just for the weekends and dates. The SL is so much more car for the money. But the CL is big and comfortable and perfect for running errands. Yes this CL area is the wasteland of MBworld. One of the rarest late model Benz`s on the road.
