My car is black but it came with those polished "luxury" alloys. I'm trying to get those off ASAP.

I'm not sure I'd put anything but AMG rims on my car now-a-days.. Those aftermarket ones really take a toll on your suspension.. just my $.02

in what way does it take its toll on your suspension with different alloys? a 19inch amg alloy will ride the same as any 19inch after market alloy.

Yeah the suspension comment is ridiculous. In my opinion, the wheel design above is nothing really special though.

i think if your going to change you need at least a 20inch to look good, and no that wheel pic is not good, but each to there own

Of course aftermarket rims take a toll on your suspension Patentmat, are you kidding me?.. Most aftermarket rims weigh more than the OEM specs and are different in width and size.. The weight, size, and dimensions take a toll.. The ball joints, control arms, links, etc give out and go.. It may sound ridiculous to you Patentmat, but I speak from personal experience and common knowledge.. Ask around, do some research.. Now Beacham, if you have the 19" aftermarket rims with the same exact specs, weight, etc than the OEM, the ride may probably be similar... But that's rarely, if ever the case.. Normally people go with the 20" rims with the huge rear lip on the back and the "pretty" chrome look (which requires a wider/heavier rim, etc).. If your gonna put another stock look alike rim, what's the point? Any opinion otherwise, to me, is "ridiculous"...

I guess one way to think about it is.. Would you rather run 10 miles in high heavey steel-toe combat boots, or a pair of Nike Airmax? Wouldn't the boots tire your legs more?

Any decent wheel will be lighter than the AMG wheels that come on W215 CLs. My 19" wheel are so much lighter than the 18"amg. You can really feel how heavy the AMG wheels are as soon as you have another wheel to compare it.

I have a few recommendations:

Petrol (best value)
Carlsson
HRe
renntech ultra lights.

I saw a CL55 with HRE 543s (i think they were 543s) and the car looked so sweeet with the 20s and 3" lip.
