OK let me try and explain, i have loaded disc one no problem, you then need disc 2 and leave it in while your looking up procedures but it opens with loads of files and it needs to be opened. i cannot do so! I'm not that good with computers but it prompts me to open with ect.. and no luck

Where do you see instructions advising to load disc 2 when you are looking up things? I have both the work shop and the parts listing guide dated '04. I've loaded both and have seen no instructions indicating loading any discs again. While I haven't spent much time with mine (just loaded it last week), both seem to be working fine. However, sometimes I do notice that when I open (use) my CD/DVD drive for something unrelated prior to opening the MD files, the system will ask for a disc. But if I don't open the drive, all is ok. I think this is normal as the system is just looking for a disc since that drive was opened. Keep me posted.

I don't know, man. I wish I could help you. Mine came with very specific directions which I followed and, as I mentioned, I had no trouble loading the discs.

Beacham - I think the prob is that the set youve bought arnt the ones MB use - I have the set and I can tell you its NOT mitchell. Mine are completly Mercedes named all over and you install from 1 double sided DVD (older version were up to 5 CD's) and then its all on the Hard Drive.
As for what your after yes I would be able to find the info but getting it to you is abit tricky - have you tried : http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1
that site has the mercedes WIS (basically what I have installed) all online. Just click on out model 215 CL 500 and youll get diagrams etc and part numbers. However it is NOT as in depth as the proper Mercedes WIS set we get on DVD.
Maybe if you message me a fax number I can print off what your after and fax it to you? It will be after the weekend though mate.

Beacham I have what you need - found it quiet easily its article AR88.20-P-2000M Remove\Install front bumper
However the way Merc WIS works is that you can only print off the sheet. Do you have a fax number I can fax to you?

You provided a sight for MB info above:
http://www.detali.ru/cat/oem_mb0.asp?TP=1
However, when I tried access to the CL, I came up with a blank page. Any help you could provide here would be great along with any other free repair sites for the CL. Thanks again!
