horrible noise when I turn left!!!!!
Im getting a really bad kind of metalic clanging noice when I turn left!? Anybody know what that is? I know my description leaves alot to the imagination, but its a creaking kind of noise... also creakes when i get in and out of the car... kinda like a suspension thing... I dunno????

Everyone agrees its ball joints. Push up and down on it up front. Hear it ?
Funny thing about mine. If I drive it every day. It will start doing it again.
But since I give it 3 days off when I drive my SL. It seems to never do it again. I think every CL owner has had this issue at one time or another.

So whats the damage to have the ball joint replaced on these cars? Can i take ot to my local German Autohaus, or should I take it to the MB dealership?
