You are into quite a job there.
When sutch things are undertaken, it is alwayes a nearly must, that you get the whole engine, so that you can move and pick parts as needed. The way you are trying too do it, is difficult and likely not to work out at the end.
Several things are involved. First you will need the pulley for the crank, and the matching belt. You will also need a belt tension unit as well. If you succed in getting the S/C fitted correct on the engine, you will need the ECU from the SL55, and all the matching sensors ( to make shure the ECU works correct ) including the vital manifold pressure sensor. Also the ECU is controlling the electromagnetic clutch fitted on the shaft of the S/C.
Dont forget the radiator and hoses for the watercooled Intercooler ( I/C ).
Did you get the electric throttle control as well ?
Is your SL fitted with a MAF sensor ? If so, it makes things a lot more easy, and there might be a more easy way out of this problem.
