One of the suspension high pressure hoses has split, only way to resolve the issue is to get it to the dealer and have the hose replaced. I take it it is the front left where the leak is.

DO NOT DRIVE TO THE DEALER. If the suspension is low, the wheels on a lock will damage the wings. Sorry Jammal, you will have to have it recovered, unless you want to damage your wings.

man that sucks I keep my fingers crossed that I wont run into this, do you think your wheels maybe contributed to the wear and tear on it? I have 18" amg's and want to go bigger like to a 20" brabus but im worried that after dropping some nice dough on wheels I will soon after be confronted with a visit workshop indicator on my cluster

There is a recall on the hose. I would not drive the car as fluid from the ABC could spray onto something hot and cause a major problem. Call your MB dealer and see what they have to say about it.

dude i highly doubt the wheels had anything to do with hose spliting . i think it was just wear and tear

Check the recall out:

http://www.allworldauto.com/recalls/...all_44343.html

It says it pertains to the '04 but I know it covers more years as they replaced mine on my '02.

Don't be surprised if they tell you the hose has already been replaced and your stuck with the bill for the hose. A failed hose can knock out the ABC pump. The hydraulic fluid keeps the pump lubricated and without lubrication the pump dies. I think my old CL blew just about every ABC hose on the car. It was in the shop, for what seemed, every few weeks for blown ABC hoses.

abc problems

My car is pushing out fluid from the vent holes on the fluid tank. ??? the shop could not find anything wrong even though it has happened more than once. They cleared the codes that read low preasure although one would think too much. Anyone have any thoughts??

Thanks,
Pocket
