i have a 2000 cl500 should keep it or trade it in 75k stock carfax clean

What are you trading the car in on?

A 2000 CL500 can get expensive to own when they get older!

If you can afford it, there should be no question, a newer CL than your 2000 would be the answer. If you want more power - as you asked for earlier -than the 12 cylinder should be the obvious choice. - So how much can you spend.......
