I really love the sound of the CL65 AMG of the 2005-2006 year, I sat in the driver seat and the car was in neutral and just pressed on the gas the engine sounds amazing because of its Twin Turbo Biturbo engine? V12.

Since the CL65 AMG is to expensive for its year, I am looking to buy a CL600 year of 2000-2003 Is it possible to make the engine sound as the CL65 AMG

Thanks Gurus

In terms of what? Exhaust note? Most people into sound think the 65 is too muffled. It is very quiet, especially when compared with a CL63, for example. A CL600 wouldn't sound very different than a CL65.

But there is no comparison in performance: handling, power, torque, braking, ... It depends what you mean by "as good."

By the way, you talk about "2000-2003" CL600s. The 2003 is twin-turbo (like the CL65) while the 2000-2002 are normally aspirated. It's a huge difference. You really ought to do some more research before you consider an older CL. The early V12s tend to break in very expensive ways. In fact, all CLs can have expensive suspension and electrical failures. Owning one without a warranty can be uncomfortable.

+1 I assimilate this to owning a boat, in that the acquisition cost is "relatively" low, but pray nothing breaks and if it does you better have a great warranty.

2004 CL 600
I got my CL 600 Last October and it has been in the shop almost every 3-5 weeks for something new, I got mine from a MB Stealership so my warranty is amazing and I have paid only for gas when they changed my fuel pump 2 weeks ago. So I agree make sure your warranty is a good one. DO NOT BUY with out a warranty.
