cl500 temp?

What temperature do your guys cl500's stay at? My fan keeps kicking on anything below 45mph and what do you think about the changing the coolant?

My '02 temp runs between just over 80 degrees C. to just under 100 degrees C. depending on whether in traffic or open road. The coolant should be changed every couple of years.

To be honest, I never noticed. This is my first MB, or foreign car for that matter, and there are a lot of things I see and hear that I don't understand on this CL. All I know is that these things generally are not a problem so I have begun to just ignore them. And I have been working on cars all my life.

I almost never hear that fan.
Normal is right at 85C for my 2000 CL500.
Almost never see that guage move once its at temp.
My Coolant was changed at 60,000 miles.
Car is now at 72K miles and running strong.
Next is flushing the Tranny Fluid and changing it out next service.

Sounds like something needs a look at with yours.

my S500 runs at 90'C. The fan comes and goes when I have the climate control on auto in traffic.
