2003 CL600 designo silver for sale..Only 26k miles
I have a 2003 CL600 designo silver for sale with only 26k miles. I have an bumper to bumper extended warranty until Nov 2010. Almost everything is covered under my extended warranty company. Uncovered items are mostly wear and tear such as tyres, brakes, etc.
This car has been my daily driver for the past 1.5 years and I am looking to get another car. This car has never been involved in any accident. I have never had any problem with this car. The only problem I can think of was when the self-closing door did not work properly, and it was covered by the extended warranty company.
MSRP (new) from the MBUSA website is around $125,000 plus the designo option which adds another $11,000 or $13,000 to the list price.
The only options I do not have (that I could think of): is keyless go and distronic cruise control. Almost everything else is standard on the 600.
KBB values :
Retail: $57,270 (excellent)
Private: $49,725 (good)
Trade in: $45,135 (good condition)
I am willing to let this car go for $48,000.
Make me a reasonable offer,we can negotiate. I need to sell this car to make space.
Oh, and by the way,I live in Indiana, about 1.5 hours drive from Chicago.
If you need a carfax, VIN, phone number, any questions whatsoever, please email me at dushsquasha@yahoo.com

Thank you.
second, if you do list it over there, be prepared for the "your car is worth $30k" line. i'm not sure i disagree with them in this instance, but they do like to cut one down to size.
Unfortunately, there is not much of a market for these cars, especially CL600s without the AMG sport package. I do wish you the best but I also want to be honest with you. Your best bet is to sell on Ebay; maybe you'll get lucky and get more.
My advice: If it doesn't sell on Ebay, then just trade the car in and take whatever they will give you. The dealer who takes your car will also have a tough time selling it with gas prices at $4.50.

I also tried Carmax and they offered me $32k.
Do 600's have AMG's? Im pretty sure the new CL600 cannot have AMG package added to the car, only 550. I'm not sure about ours.
Thanks for the insight..

If the dealer will give you 35K, you should probably take the deal. It will save you a few thousand in taxes on trade in. You may find someone willing to spend around 40K but you had better have the extended warranty. I took a huge bath when I sold my AMG bodied CL600 with Renntech ECU/TCU.
Regarding trade in tax. If the buyer is local, There is a way to include the dealer in the purchase. So I will get the price I want and also put it to reduce my sales tax..
Asking price is $43k, not $45k

Which is why manheim auction prices are low..they are auctions and buyers (dealers in this case) do take risk with those cars.
Say dealer buy a car for $30k from manheim. They spend approx $2-3k fixing and detailing the car. mark the car up 15-20% and you see them listed around $37-40k.
Please let us know how you are doing there as I am sure many of us are interested.
Good luck..
