**RECALL SEPTEMBER 2008 QUESTION**
Hey All,
I have a quick question for those out there that know a little bit more mechanically than I do. My '04 CL500 has about 80k miles and I just dropped it off for a minor problem. Mercedes informed me that my Front Struts are basically shot, although they are not leaking yet. Service rep said to enjoy my time in the car while I can. Does the recall that was placed in September 2008 have anything to do with my problem? Final price including labor was a whopping $5,000!!!!!
