have any one ever change there flex dish is it easy there front and rear

Flex Disk.... Its not too bad of a job.... If your in the NY area, i could tackle it for you..

its just nuts and bolts.... its the disk that is inbetween the driveshaft on both sides.. (front/rear)

once you removed nuts does the flex disk just comes off or you would have to compress driveshaft to get it off. the dealer advise me that you have to do.

Are you experiencing any symptoms or did the dealer just recommend it to you? I hear a bad flex disc will cause drive train vibration and the occasional "thunk" noise when coming to a stop during the 2-1 shift. I'm experiencing the latter and suspect it's the flex discs, but I haven't visually looked at the condition yet.

I have not hear any thunk or a vibration as of yet, the dealer inform me that it is wearing out and have like 10k left on it.
