what cause abc to fail..
does pot hole, or speed bump cause ????

It just wear and tear on a complex hydraulic suspension system. The same question can be asked for regular shocks. Will pot holes and speed bumps cause damage to regular shocks? Over time and with frequency, the answer would probably be yes. Different kind of damage of course but damage none the less.

With a normal shock, that return pressure when you hit a pot hole is pretty much contained to one wheel well. With a hydraulic suspension like ABC, some of that pressure goes back into the system which burdens the hoses.

I say drive and don't worry.

when do you change the oil and filter from ABC pump
flush out the system
dealer charge me 650 out the door
that they put your car on the horse back ride

wow thats a lot, I think they charged me about $100. I will do it when they oil gets dirty, maybe every 60K along with the transmission fluid

Actually the new procedure is to filter instead of flush, which is using the same fluid but cleaning it. This is done by installing a new 3 micron ABC filter, running the rodeo program in SDS twice and then replacing the filter again. This ensures that all of the fluid in the system traverses the new filter and gets clean.
