What parts do we share? Need help guys!

Here's the dilemma. I want to get CF mirror covers for my CL to match all the other CF bits I have. However, nobody makes them for the CL. I was hoping to buy some chrome covers that I have seen on Ebay and use them as a template to make my own out of CF. I have about 7 yards of CF fabric and think I can do it. But guess what....nobody has them for the CL in chrome either!
So I'm hoping somebody can tell me if the 2003 CL shares side mirrors with any other MB vehicle. I was thinking maybe the S, but JBSPEED, who sells the CF mirror covers, says no. Any help out there?

If you're wrapping the covers yourself in carbon, why can't you use your existing ones? Just curious as I have no experience in working with carbon fiber other than what I see on the Discovery channel.

I'll look up the part numbers. Standby...

This is gonna be a trial and error project. I want to be able to drive the car while I will be doing the project. I'm thinking the carbon fiber fabric, mixed with the resin, will be messy and might damage my mirrors and paint. This won't be a permanent add-on, just a part that I can pop off if need be.

Cool stuff.

Regarding the part numbers, they're the same for the S and CL:

Right Mirror Cover A2208101064 (VIN After 9/30/2002)

S500 (220.075)
Left Mirror Cover A2208100964 (VIN After 9/30/2002)
Right Mirror Cover A2208101064 (VIN After 9/30/2002)

My pleasure. Take some snapshots of the finished product when complete.
