I went for a long drive 2 weeks ago, and I got 27.7 mpg . But that was pretty extreme. Usually it hoovers around 23-24 on the freeway.

CL55 Supercharged usually hovers around 20-21 at 80MPH, maybe 15 in the city

I get similar MPG with my 2005 CL55 but we don't do 80 - more like 70ish except to pass. (It's amazing how many people in Priuses cruise past me!)

Mileage has been gradually going up as the engine miles increase. I also use Techron once a month. Once the engine hit 20k miles I saw an increase in mileage.

A proper alignment, staggered summer tires, recommended inflation (TPMS) and summer temperatures help, too!

I've gotten as high as 28.9 on the highway and as low as 25. Around town it's in the 18-20 range. I've found the optimal cruising speed for gas mileage is between 66 & 70 mph.

Keep in mind we all are answering with different cars here. You are the first V12 TT to answer. Long term (say 2000 miles), I average about where you are or just very slightly better - it is only when I reset on the freeway that I get 20-21 mpg.

20.5 - 22-4 on hwy at 74 to 76mph on cruise. 14-16 in town.

Wind, temp and tire pressure all effect what I average.
