AfterMarket Warranty / Dealer Service Question

2003 CL 600
AfterMarket Warranty / Dealer Service Question

My car is currently in the dealership for an issue with the Trunk not opening up and the suction on the door not working properly.

I have an Easy Care Warranty and it requires me to pay $250.00 Deductible if the part is covered.

Dealership tells me that the part is covered but that (1) Hour of labor is not going to be covered.

I agree for them to replace the part and ill pay the extra (1) hour labor out of pocket. ($148.00)

Dealership finished the job, and calls me to tell me that the ""Diagnostics Fee"" [$350.00] is not covered by the Aftermarket Warranty, and this is after all is said and done.

Is there anyway to have the dealership waive the Diagnostics Fee, because they initially told me that the aftermarket warranty would cover it?

you should read the fine print before you buy the warranty.
if you bring in your car the MBstealer they always charge you for Diagnostics
does not matter if you know the problem, but if you know have warranty they will waive that fee. thats the it goes my friend
