License Plate Light - Factory Upgrades?
Hey guys,
I have a '02 CL600 and I was just curious if Mercedes ever updated/modified anything about the license plate lights on w215's?

what you can do is install LED light
just but it from ebay
then go to radio shack and buy some resistor

Hey yeah I ordered a set of these off ebay the other day:

The ad didn't say anything about needing any resistor though...
But hey, yeah I was also interested in whether or not there had been any upgrades to the housings themselves? Like does the 2006 CL65 have the same opaque-ish ribbed covers over its plate bulbs as my 2002 CL600?
