Stock rear is 26.3" dia.
front is 26.7" dia.
If you went with the same size 265 and 245
you are at rear 26.3"
front 26.8"
You are sitting at the same position.

your new front tires are 27" dia.
and rear 26.7" dia.
You are allmost the same as original size ----- that's good.
Your stock rims are 44 offset ---- what are the new ones ??
If they are less then 44 they will go more to the outside.
Check how is the clearance between the tire and fender.
You should be able to decide how low you can go.
One more thing ---- the links we are using to lower the car are
actually links to control the level of the headlights -- to be right
where its should be no mater what's the distribution of weight is
in the car (how many people) or cargo in the trunk.
Computer is adjusting the level of the car so the lights are correct.
In regards to that ---- you should lower the car evenly -- front and rear.
If you go lower in the front --- your light will be in wrong position and
driving at night could be a problem.
Just some things for you to consider.

Wow Cleveland!
Your car looks identical to mine. I always wondered what my car would look like with your rims.
Anyway my car also has 20"s on it but my fronts are 245s. Right now It's lowered 1.25" But I could go lower.

Hey Cleveland!
I will put up a couple of pics tonight when I get home. With the magnaflow its a nigth and day difference. It sounds much more like a cl55 but a little bit louder. But it is only in the beginning of each gear. When I drive on the freeway the car is totally quiet. It was exactly what I was looking for.
No luck with the BBK yet. There are just so many different fitments. And I haven't been able to get a clear answer yet on exactly what fits. So I have been afraid to buy.
It seems like the s55,cl55,sl55 and the e55 have the same brake setup. But the adapter plate is different. But then only certain years fit. I got a great deal on a full brake setup for a 2007 sl55, but it wouldn't fit on my 2003. So I couldn't go through with the deal.

Sorry for my slow reply Cleveland!
I love your rims, but I just bought new ones.
Anyway here are some pics of my car. In these pictures the car is lowered 2" all around. But I think the car would scrape. With my normal setting of 1.25" I can drive anywhere.
