Rustproofing

Hey everyone,

I was curious as to whether or not it's too late to have my 2002 CL600 rustproofed? For that matter, does it even need to be rustproofed? I suspect that the manufacturing of CL-Class cars uses high-grade metal components. Also, I live in mild part of the country (Arkansas) and I don't live near any major body of water. Are these sufficient enough? I figured I might as well address the issue now, if need be, rather than waiting till it's too late. Prevention is always better than the cure. Thanks for your time.

Do you drive it in the winter. Do they used salt on the road? If so, then yes, get it rustproofed. Better safe than sorry. I had my E500 sprayed. My 98 Volvo already has some cancer spots

W215 CL's are made of Aluminium and composite (plastic) and as such will not rust.
I'm not sure if "rustproofing" will be any use.
Colin.
