Radiator Hose for Cl 600

Help..... I need a radiator hose for my CL 600 2002. Mercedes does not stock or make the hose any more. Hard to custom make..... any ideas?
The hose actually connects to the bottom of the resevoir and than to the heater and bottom of motor. Fitted hose
Thanks

Sounds wrong, all parts are still available for these cars from Mercedes, try and call another dealer or search online.

I wish I was wrong. I had it confirmed by 3 dealers on the east coast, west and north. The hose that comes out of the resevior to the heater and bottom of motor. I had to make up a hose from NAPA. It works but I am not to happy with it. I had to use part of the old hose to make it work. Germany is no longer making that hose. After 8 years they are not required to.

I find this hard to believe also. Try calling MB USA in NJ at 800 for-merc. ask for the tech dept and advise them of your problem.

Try this link, number 3 part down the list should be the one you are looking for:

It was close but not the right hose. That hose actually connects to the radiator. The one I need does not. It looks close to it but not the same. The hose I need connects to the motor above starter and runs to the heater and resevior. Has a short hose to the heater not a long one. Does not have fiitted end that fits on radiator like the one you showed me. Thanks for trying.

Go to this site, select Mercedes and follow the prompts. You will be able to get a part # here and give it to your MB parts dept or call MB as I suggested above.

Here's your hose, p/n 220 501 22 82

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...layCatalogid=0

Go to the second CL600 listing in the parts listing site I sent you above. Your hose is listed with its part no.

That is correct, but it is not the same hose as shown and that part number is no longer being made. Thanks for trying. That hose has only 2 connections the one on the diagram from before has 3... 1 to res. 1 to the heater and 1 to the motor. I gave mercedes the number off the hose and everybody says that they are no longer making that hose in Germany and it is out of stock.

Mercedes found this also hard to believe. They had to research and call back, but they found the answer. The one hose that is not available is now replaced by 2 hoses part number 220 501 48 82 and 220 832 37 94 they could not believe it but the dealers totally missed it. Thanks. Now I know why there is a plug below my oil cooler line in the radiator. That plug is for the new hose. I would like to know the reason for this change and difference from this simple engineering change for the reservior heater exchange hose.

Good deal! Glad you got it resolved. FYI, I recently read somewhere that MB still makes all parts for any vehicle they ever made. Frankly, I don't know if this is true or not.
