Hello Chris,

I have a 2000 CL500, and I want to know if the front "clear" light fits directly or if you have to make an adaptation?

What is the "effort" that you prceise on your site for the Comand 16x9 APS in place of the Comand 2.5?

Thanks, and nice project, and give us pictures.

You have to redo some cables in back of the light.

Dont understand question number 2?

Chris,

As seen in your website

"C3. Comand 2.0 16:9 for S-Class and CL W220 (99-03)
Article number: MM004
PRICE INCLUDES INSTALL AND MATERIAL. Comand APS 2.0, 16:9-display and CD-reader.

This comand arrived whitin the facelift of 2003 on W220 and W215. To install this one in older cars than 2003, some extra effort is prefered.
"

Yes it is quite difficult...And you need expensive wood parts.

FINALLY SOME NEW, VERY NICE!!!

Chris....looking good so far. Can't wait to see the final pictures. Please make sure you post it. Kleemann rear bumper looks very nice...don't know about the Kleemann front thou, I was debating back then to go for Kleemann but didn't see many Silver one in person and sticked to the Carlson and Wald...and now to AMG. Have you seen LARS Kleeman in dark purple...it just look flawless. Nice choice of rims too. Lower it maybe and it'll look

Thanx..

Yes Lars K is a bussiness partner....That paint is my favorite...I dont like the front eighter..But I have som mods planed for it to make it more modern and make it more in my taste...The rims are not final..I have them till I get the ones I planed on. The lowering kit is waiting for the real rims to be fitted for a perfekt lowering.

Mercedes CL500
This is one of the best threads I've seen in this forum.

I really like how the car's rear end turned out. The exhaust outlets are a very modern and stylish setup without being overly done like the vertical staggered IS-F exhaust tips.

I would love to see more pictures of the finished project!

Jon

My painted Kleemann front. I painted the parts I dont like with the Kleemann front in black. Think it looks more agressive like that.

So you decided to go for the Kleemann front after all. Great call on painting the front...it totally looks more aggressive. Can't wait to see the final finish piece. Please post more pictures.

I agree with your choice. The Milano wheels look much nicer on your CL n the Mandrus Stuttgart wheels. The choices you made have really transformed your car.

ones too fast according to CHP!
The front Bumper fits over the 2003 facelift OE bumper, it is not a full bumper replacement.

Thanks to Chris for clarifying that.

thanks
