Stolen Wing Mirrors
Hey Guys,
Recently all Mercedes cars in my area have been having their wing mirrors stolen, it's now happened to me twice.... The first time I had the dealer replace them at nearly 2000 euros for the pair plus labour (ridiculously pricey) I don't want to get the dealer to replace them again because I might as well just be handing him my credit card!
My main questions are will facelifted mirrors fit my 02' built car? Plus is there an easy way of doing it yourself?
And is there some way to better secure them? last time the mirrors were stolen while my car was parked in my drive!![bs](https://mbworld.org/forums/images/smilies/bs.gif)
Cheers!

Sorry my bad, I'm on about door mirrors. The only mirrors i can find are the face-lifted ones (>03) and my car is an 02 built model, I just wanted to find out if any major differences were made to them that would make fitting them difficult.

Just an FYI- we call those "side view" mirrors in the US. Sorry I don't know if the newer ones will work on your car, but this may help if your search leads you back to this side of the pond.
