I paid $400 for the part and labor for one catylac converter, is this a good price????????

That is a very good price! I'm getting quotes of ~$1200. BTW, the Cats don't usually fail this side of 120k miles. Be sure to Check plugs and coils for mis-fires. Running rich fuel can burn them out quick..
